i spent much of yesterday in the city watching the large demonstration. i didn't stay for the "coming down" of the bush statue. i'm not very good at handling large rather suffocating crowds. it was an interesting day though - the diversity of people, their opinions and their reasons for being at the protest was amazing. i have quite a few shots from the protest - nothing too great though. i am hoping the shots i took with my eos rebel will turn out better.
i'm a tad annoyed that i can not use my nokia 3650 (camera-phone) here since it's bands are not correct. usa has dual bands and uk has tribands...or vice versa. something about bands! so, i'm pondering selling it...and purchasing a new one here. the one i have has hardly been used.
(p.s. yes, i edited this photo in photoshop. i merely kept the colour of the poster and made everything else black and white.)
